Advertising opportunities are now available with Buffalo Area Transit. We will be making space available on the rear and rear sides & inside of our buses for advertising. Changes Coming
For Sheridan & Gillette Trips
Buffalo Area Transit System in collaboration with Goose Creek Transit has upgraded our service for Sheridan. This comes with new costs but allows us the chance to serve more of you each week. The Fare schedule for Sheridan and Gillette rides will be increasing to bring them up to date. Sheridan Ride and Gillette Ride info can be found here or in the Dropdown under the BATS Live Window
Buffalo Area Transit has made a move to "TripMaster" to dispatch and manage our daily rides. This upgrade is necessary due to the fact that our old platform was no longer going to be supported. As a result we had to pick a platform that would let us grow into the future, and give you our loyal riders a good program. Taking things to a higher level giving you available rides right at your fingertips with your phone or computer with "TripMaster TripPortal".
The November 2025 Stuff the Bus event raised 983 lbs of food for our Local Food Pantry. A very special Thank You to all who gave so generously. And to Everyone at DJ's Thriftway Grocery a giant Thank You for hosting us for a successful event, the best one yet!
We wish to Thank the entire community for showing up to help the food drive. DJ's and Lynn's have been amazing. Helping raise 3,768 pounds of food. It's always an honor to serve our community.
